I guess the most important thing UCB improv gave me was: all of my friends. This is a sentimental recollection of what it felt like to take an improv class and realize that I liked everybody in an entire community.
My friend Will Hines wrote this wonderful blog about the early days of UCB and friendship. Will and I are no longer on speaking terms. (Just kidding, I love Will Hines dearly.)
